That's going to depend on driving conditions. Mostly highway not so much. Lots of stop and go with lots of braking, yeah all that energy used to spin them up poof gone in heat and brake dust.

I’ve not heard great things about their all terrains. No personal experience but all the complaints I did read online involved the AT.

Specs are in my build thread. Overall about 2" of lift with no rubbing now. I can see that I will rub the front fender liner offroad.

Can you guys confirm if they have the (winter) 3 peak snowflake design, as per the Sams Club ad?

you can probably pick up a set of Michelin AT2 tires for a similar price and they are a far better tire in every aspect

Well two of us posted the mud terrain which has the M+S on them, not as good as the snowflake symbol.

I can’t comment on the AT that the 3rd person mentioned.

The Pirelli MTR's definitely do not have the snowflake symbol. They have very little siping. The new ATP's shown at Sam's Club are winter rated and have the snowflake.

Got them Pirelli scorpion at plus 265/70/17 SL on SCS BR6 17x8.5 -10. Coming from BFG KO1 Load range D, the ride is smoother. So far on the highway it performed good. Also with the lighter wheels and tires combo, throttle response is better as well as transmission response. The truck shifts smoother and doesn’t hunt for gear as much.

I had e rated tires (KO2s) for about a week. The Decline in mileage and performance was just to much. It felt like my truck was under water.

I didn’t like it one bit. I switched to p rated Ultraterrains.

wasn’t my cup of tea. I would like the E-rated piece of mind off road though. That’s I am considering a second set of steelies just for camping/off road.

I put all the negatives of having E loads into consideration but I honestly didn’t feel a difference. I’m constantly doing 18.5ish in the city so I’m not worried about mileage at this point

Strange. I drove identical MT truck like mine with p rated tires and i noticed no difference whatsoever. I get advertised mpgs as well. Im running e load ko2s currently, will be switching to c load when my set wears out.

I will chime in regarding pirelli tires. I had scorpions ATRs, i know not the same tires as in the OP.

The worst tires i have ever bought. They were 265/75/16s in E load and somehow all four ended up getting patched. Off road performance was garbage, not sure why they classify them as an AT tire. They were shit in the rain, scary hydroplaning on the highways going only 60-65.

They were great on dry highways though haha. The only good thing, they lasted me 50k miles. Will never buy another pirelli product for my truck. Maybe for my race car, if i get one someday ha!

Have you tried these in the rain or off-road yet? It seems here there is a wide range of opinions on these, although I have not seen enough people with the SL rated tires chime in. That is the only one that I care to know about since I don't want the weight and stiffness of an E rated tire.

If you look on some tire websites, people seem to really love these things:

I noticed slower braking, slower acceleration and an overall heavier feel.
