born and raised in Cali, and 99% of people I meet and have met are completely normal and reasonable. Plenty of people that I know are CCW and have never had issues. It’s harder to get here, couple extra steps, but it is still possible. CA is a big state, and most of the assumptions made by people outside of CA generalize facts from one of 2 cities. If any of the CA shit-talkers have been to CA, they’d know CA residents shit-talk the cities they generalize as all of California. And even then, it’s mostly politicians and not the residents.

“Freedom Week” in CA was a hilarious time, but it should show that Californians are pretty much the same as the rest of the 50 states.

 

Makes sense, I just seem to remember that mudthrowing wasn't the primary activity in it all..from the candidates on down. Saddens me.

Couple of years ago I let my registration expire by accident, ( 2 work trucks and two boats all registered at the same time and I overlooked the taco somehow ( May 31). On June 2nd, My plate was scanned by the PD at a stop light, from a cop in a different lane, he worked his way over behind me and pulled me over. He let me go without a ticket and I got the truck registered the next day.

 

people go to CA. It’s expensive. Just is. Get cheap hotel. Cheap hotel is in shitty part of town. It’s all they can afford for their vaca. They are basically in the part of town that exists in their own neighborhood but they never go to because it’s bad. “CA is a Shit hole!”

 

I spent 2 years in NC.

My shithole is a much nicer shithole.

 

CA, HI, NY, etc... people say things like “I hope CA falls into the sea”, or “I don’t give a shit about HI”

As a New Yorker, I love CA. Not only do you have San Diego, LA, San Fran, Bezerely, NAPA and the best food in the country, you also have the best after market Tacoma shops, etc. It is almost unfair.

 

Yeah lol. In San Diego, you couldn’t whip a rock without hitting a fab shop. I’ve never even seen such a thing upstate.

 

I think I can honestly say, as an AZ resident, ....we are all hoping for beach front property some day.

 

So...try not to go to the shitty places next time! Also, I’m sending some of my neighbors to NC next. Grey Bald Taco piped down after I sent him and Texas large a few, which included the people I bought my house from. We’ll de-class your fancy Southern Sense & Sensibilities in no time!
