Just wanted to open this up again.

I just installed Spyder LED Tailights on my tacoma (with a resistor). The headlights bulbs have just been replaced with LED bulbs, no resistor.

I’m thinking if I get new LED headlights with a resistor, it should rectify the hyperflashing Tailights. Am I wrong in this one?

Are you talking turn signals or brake lights?

Turn signals hyperflash with the new LED Tailights. I was thinking since I was already going to buy new LED headlights, they will have a resistor and take care of this problem

Or buy the @MESO turn signals. The have a built in resistor as well.

I don't think a resistor on the headlight circuit would help you with the tail light circuit.

A resistor anywhere on the turn circuit would help.

What could be the cause if the tailight circuit already has a resistor?

I don't know enough about the tacoma specific wiring setup to answer that with certainty.
