I need to address the rear suspension, do you guys think this package is a decent deal? Or any other suggestions? I have s $500 xmas bonus gift card I'm planning on putting towards this. I currently have a squeaky as hell progressive AAL with Icon 2.0's.

what do you not like with your current setup? what are you looking to gain from this change?

can tell you keeping suspension quiet gets harder the more you change, so hopefully thats not the motivation

The squeaking is a big motivator to be honest but I'm also losing out of some droop with the Icon's so that's also a factor.

But, I'm not a huge offroader and I should be content how it is now but the squeak is killing me. I've lubed up everything I can and it's fine for a week or two then the squeaks come raging back. The kings in that package are probably overkill too.

what are you lubing up that gets rid of said squeak? If I were to approach the issue, I'd ideally take care of the root cause instead of replacing random things that have nothing related to the issue.

I spray either dry film (applied at install) or T-9 waterproof lubricant to a few specific spots on the each leaf pack. The T-9 seems to be the most effective but merely temporary.

The leafs are the culprit, I wouldn't replace random parts unknowingly but thanks.

My icons are perfectly quiet. Unless I go mudding and don't wash it then they make noise.

"a few specific spots" is not a meaningful phrase to me.

I mean look at it from our point of view. You are asking us for suggestions based on our experience. Our experience will be based on situations of actual parts not an unspecific phrase that states "specific spots".

Are you having issues with binding on your leaf pack, are you having issues with axle wrap, are you having issues rocks and sand sitting in between individual leafs. Are you sure it's not the bushings. Are your bumpstops f***ed up, etc.

    Help us help you.

Add nylon pucks between the ends of the leaf pack, this is what deaver does with their custom leaf springs (i have a set) and they dont squeak at all and you may eventually have to add some new pucks but that is cheap

Sorry, I'm at work so I'm being vague... When I use the T-9/dry film I try to spray in between the leafs as best I can w/o jacking up the rear and the leaf clamps. The shackles/bushings do not seem to make any sound so I stick to the entire leaf pack when spraying the lube. It works but only for a few days or a week.

I have not noticed any binding, no axle wrap is occurring, and I'll have to inspect the bumpstops closely but they looked fine when I installed the AAL.

There's always dirt and grime and that could be it. I should plan taking some time to jack up the rear and pry the leafs apart a tad and pressure wash. The damn squeak is so annoying and embarrassing.

Generally putting lubricant on squeaky leaf springs is at best a temporary fix. I’m guessing the problem is dirt and grit. You need to thoroughly clean those leafs. The other suggestions here are good but the first order of business is cleaning the crap out of the springs.

All the time, even when my 45lb dog jumps in and out of the truck the leafs squeak.

I have 3-leaf progressive AAL's from Wheelers Offroad.
They have anti-friction pads, and are NOT squeaky.
    Where did you get yours?

Update; Finally got around to installing the speedway liner (thank you @ETALATE !!) along with wheelers ubolt flip kip w/ super bumps, removed the overloads, and cut off one of the rear clamps on each of the leaf packs. AND NO MORE FRIGGIN SQUEAKS! The ride is nicer w/o the overloads and super bumps on all corners.

    Thanks for the help guys!
