Never heard of airfiber before. So were those APs you put in not needed then?

Airfiber is a product from Ubiquiti that replaces a hardline. It's basically transparent to ethernet.

    https://www.ui.com/airfiber/airfiber5/

The APs were for other stuff and are all installed already.

So instead of running ethernet/fiber/coax/leased line you throw up a couple of these? Can it really give service over 100 km?? that's insane

It's called "Wireless Backhaul," you only get 100km direct line of sight, so I'm not sure what sort of towers/geography would actually be required. We use them because there was no way to physically run a cable to the building without digging up our driveway which would stop traffic to the dock.. and in the grand scheme of things actually cost more money when you figure in excavation.

You figure 2 of these for 1k a piece vs an excavator for a day, laying the conduit, covering the conduit, pulling the fiber.. these are easily ahead.

What kind of speeds do you get?

I put a TP-Link CPE510 up on the side of our garage to supply WiFi to an outbuilding about 100 yds away. It works well enough; not sure I'd want to stream a 4K movie over it, but all I really need is the ability to pull up interwebz and youtubez pages on how to fix stuff. I'm shooting through a wooded area and it still works well enough for those needs. The CPE510 can work standalone as I did, or you can put one at the other end and get a result similar to yours. I would have done that if the single-ended solution wasn't good enough.

Pics not loading. I get full gigabit across the airfiber.

Your problem is more than likely the woods, not the hardware.

Fixed pics I hope. I should measure my speed I guess but it's not full bars on any device.

Keep in mind that the limiting factor is probably the power your devices can use to reach that antenna. They probably receive well but don't transmit well.

You'd want something with omni antennas for the yard. I don't really know what's available in the consumer market for an outdoor AP though.

I'm always hesitant to recommend Unifi gear for most home folks because you need to run a standalone software to control them, but something like this in a standalone is what you really need:

Seven here and 10 more elsewhere in the yard. They’re American Giant Hybrid so I’m hoping they turn out to be the 8’ ones.
Doing it for the wife because they’re her favorite.

The TP-Link scatters signal around more than I would have expected. I think it would do a decent job as an outdoor AP for a single side of the house, say the back yard. I even see signal from it on the opposite side of the garage it's mounted to. Setup was pretty easy but not plug-and-play; I have some network knowledge and knew what I wanted.

i hate it. I guess the only good thing was, about an inch up from this spot (inside the rocker) it was squeaky clean. I'm sure i'll have to do the front portion of the bedsides sooner than later, the fender flares are currently covering that spot up though lol.
