Agreed - I think utilizing the “VF News” section of the website would be a huge help in mitigating redundant questions, requests for updates, or multiple threads here on the forum needing to be checked. Just a thought @OVTune - I could get used to checking your site for releases/news/etc.

OV people... I’ve been running 1.05 perf 91 since after 1.04.

I had a baby so I’ve been out of the loop. What’s the deal with the new 2.0 when it’s done? I have the OBDii connection to my windows laptop. Will the new one upload the same way or is there a whole new way to do it? Sorry I don’t feel like combing through this forum or mat’s posts to find out...
Can someone who’s daily on here just give me a quick 1-2 of how it’s all gonna go down? My ECu wasn’t in the beta or I would have...
    thnx in advance.

Same method as before. You may have to re-download the flash manager. Also 2.0 final isn't released yet.

We will be releasing 2.0 final maps either today or tomorrow, ones implemented without gearlock from current development.

Getting tired of everyone posting daily on our facebook thinking we forgot about/dropped 2.0/ etc.
nobody reads what the hell we post anyway. That's for certain.

So current 2.0 final files that are setup without gearlock will be available.

they will be posted as links on a page, because flash manager update isn't done yet, but if we don't release something we wont stop getting these posts.

    Awesome info!

Will you be releasing 2.0 final tunes with gearlock down the road at all? Still patiently waiting for a 5.29 tune with gearlock for towing purposes.

    yes of course.
We will just be releasing current ones so people can stop saying we aren't doing 2.0 at all.

I appreciate everything you have done Mat! @OVTune i get how it can be super frustrating when you’re working very hard to make sure it’s perfect.

They will be released in p5F and vFT format so you can use as is, or edit to your liking if you have vFT

Is it really the tune degrading, or are there perception issues from drivers? I don't have a tune yet, still waiting for a Licence and reg key, sitting on a $400 flash kit that I can't use, wondering how much of this is real and how much is perceived in all these issues. Also not trying to open up old wounds/discussions, just asking I guess. Unless it comes down to hard and fast numbers, a lot of this is subjective, seat of the pants, " it feels different than..."

I'm not doubting some real issues exist, so much as asking the question, are they more real or more perceived?

was the start stumbling specific to certain ECUs or years...was it resolved in the upcoming final tunes (if it in fact was a issue)?

You’ll feel a difference but to be like some of these people who say’OMG! OMG! It’s so much better now like 100x better!’ Is not my impression. But that’s coming from a guy that didn’t really noticed the stock gear hunting as much, and who spent 5k on suspension to only be like ‘meh’ lol
