Does the 2004 tacoma prerunner have a cabin air filter. I can't find anything on internet earlier than 2005.

Follow up, I painted the hood of my truck using spray cans. Sanded, primed painted. It isn't showroom but it works for me. Few more cans would make it really look good but no need, it is a boat towing, hauling truck. Just needed protection.

No filter in the cabin, but mice like to go thru the hole if you don't put screen in it. I had to pull two nests out of my 2004 Taco until I put wire mesh in the air inlet in the air filter box & the cabin air inlet opening.

Fox 2.0 Coilovers in the front and Fox 2.0’s in the rear, Total Chaos UCA’s, Al-lpro expo leafs, K&N cold air intake, TRD headers,Magnaflow catback exhaust,URD short throw shifter, switched out my 60/40 bench seat for some Tacoma Limited seats, Replaced the vinyl shift boot for a leather one, completely soundproofed the cab w/ Frost King. Replaced stock radio with a Pioneer AVH series head unit. Focal component system w/a 10" sub powered by 2 Alpine amps. Weathertech floor mats. Line-X'd the bed. SCS Ray 10’s, Installed an A.R.E. MX series camper shell. All-Pro Apex front bumper w/ All-Pro skid plates all the way back to the Trans. Low Range fuel skid plate.
My hood is destroyed by Louisiana summers and traveling from NC. I asked a local body shop and the guy quoted me $700 for my hood and roof. I think I’ve seen you can order oem painted hoods for $300 somewhere.

OEM painted hood for $300 sounds like a steal.

No cabin air filter, but i bought some aerosol vent cleaner from Napa and sprayed it in the intake. (On the cowl) truck smelled real purdy for like a week.
