Alright so I finally got around to doing a cab mount chop, got a little aggressive and took quite a bit off. Now I'm wondering if I can leave it or do I have to weld a plate to kind of fill the hole. Any issues with not plating it or will I be fine?

As I've never done it, I can't say. But I've seen a few members on here who just chopped it without covering it up with a plate.

I imagine it would probably be a good idea to cover it up though, as the weight gain would be negligible, but it might help protect from any corrosion or build-up of mud/dirt/grime in that area.
