not much going here lately, been too hot outside which doesn't mix well with my medications. maybe this upcoming cool front will afford me the opportunity to get some progress made.

Been a while since my last update and since then I found two new (used) front fenders, two complete matching doors and several of the missing interior pieces. As for actual work completed, I gutted the interior, removed all factory sound deadening, scuffed the floor, back wall (to bottom of rear window) and firewall down to the primer cleaned it with acetone and then bedlinered the inside. I also removed all of the excess addon's like lights, winch, car alarm and starter button. Switched the wiring back to the factory setup for the ignition. I also removed all the decals and 3 layers of tint off the rear window ( I can see out of it now. LOL). Sorry no pictures at this time. It's late and dark so they would be poor quality anyhow.
Next on the list is to put the interior back together, install a new grille and side marker/turn signals then with any luck it will be sent off with the new (used) parts to a friend's paint shop to see if we can't do something about the fading/peeling rattlecan black paint job. I've decided to go with a factory Tacoma color. My wife and I are currently leaning towards Surfside Green for the color.
