Hey All. I'm new to your boards ( sort of...I lurk). I'm active on t4r.org since I drive a 3rd gen 4runner. Anywho. My friend has a 2010 stock non trd tacoma. It's double cab 4x4 6 foot bed (not positive on that actually). He is getting a camper that weighs 275 to 300 pounds alone. He is looking to lift the rear of the truck to accommodate that weight and sit level. Would full HD deavor leaf packs be needed ? They say 1.25 inch lift at 400 to 600 pound of weight and with all camping gear in the bed he maybe close to 400 pounds. Will a normal 3 inch lift leaf pack or add a leaf under that load just drop him down to an inch of lift? What would you folks recommend? 4runner don't have leaf packs not used to gauging lift issues with these....

He isn't doing any crazy offroading. Just getting out to rock climbs and sleeping in the middle of nowhere. So not trying to go down a crazy rabbit hole of mods.

Lastly correct me if I'm wrong since it looks like lifting the rear with the camper is likely to yield a 1 inch of lift, he could buy 3rd gen tacoma trd springs and pop those on up front to gain an inch of lift and level things back out a bit right?

Thanks for the insight. I know we all get tired of lift questions for our vehicles. Maybe I searched poorly but didn't find any thread specifically dealing with weight of campers...
