    One of the skills I acquired in Combat Engineer university was, the tying of knots.

    Now we have ratchet straps and tie downs.

    I have a set of these. So much easier and worth the extra money. I only use the old style if I need more than 2 straps. That reminds me that I need to get 2 more.
