Any helpful Mavic Air owners in SoCal?

Okay here's a long shot... would anyone in SoCal who has a Mavic Air be willing to lend/rent me their remote controller for an event next weekend?

My controller had a malfunction with one of the joysticks so I shipped it in for repair the other week. They haven't even evaluated it yet, so I doubt I'll get it in time for this important event, where I really want to be flying my camera around and taking pictures!

I can offer the price of a used replacement controller as collateral/deposit ($160), cash, plus a fee if you want. And pick it up / drop it off in person.

I realize that I'm seeking drone parts on a truck forum, but this is the only place I hang out online, and it's way too late to join and be taken seriously on a drone forum. Plus I don't know the first thing about what drone enthusiasts do, but I sure as hell don't have time or money for another hobby.

 

Well it was worth a shot. I ordered a used remote on ebay, hopefully I can resell it without too much of a loss!
