I wasn't saying shellshock was wrong, I was saying the other member you quoted was wrong about the tunes being the same. Shellshock was pointing out that with the regular and premium octane learning tunes, the initial values speed up the learning process.

Yep. A little rough until all the trims are worked out. All good.

Shellshock owned up and edited his post saying "I was incorrect." and you are saying he was correct?
If the initial values speed up the learning process then why is Mat asking for 500 miles now, instead of 100 miles like the older tunes?

I thought it was a minimum of 3-tanks or 1,000+ Miles.

    Negative.

some people get real bad mpg (13-15) which is 2+ tanks.

@Cement_Toy the 100 mile rule is for initial feedback. People would flash and drive 5 miles and give their feedback. It still takes 400-500 miles to completely settle in.

there was also people that would flash, reset LV and then complain it ran like crap... which is expected behavior for the initialization period after LV reset

2 years ago, we also didn’t used to idle. We would just flash and drive. Now a 10 minute idle is recommended.

things have been refined and revised over time.

You are welcome to read all 65,787 posts if you want to try giving me a history lesson. I doubt you’ve read them in 8 days time.

He has the best comprehension, the most beautiful comprehension, bigly
    yuge, really
Sorry, I just think it's funny for people to self-congratulate themselves
(edit - to give credit though, he did say he has read before joining)

But, to be honest, the points being argued are non-material
I could be wrong, but in part, by my read, they were to keep people from complaining after driving a block on a new beta-tune version (mileage somewhat arbitrary)

Here is what I have seen here since 2019.

Shellshock is King Shit of Turd Island.

    ihatemytruck is the Head Cheerleader.

    There are many other Cheerleaders.
    You know who you are.

Since ihatemytruck is the Head Cheerleader,
let's put him on top for our big ending.

    Shit, ihatemytruck got it wrong.

All of us Cheerleaders will still give each other likes and support.
    That's how we roll.

Your Mob Group attacks anyone new to this thread and makes them feel dumb.
You are a group of Bullies and don't care who you offend.
That is what I have seen here since 2019.

Anyone else notice this group of Cheerleaders or
felt like the Mob here can be less than helpful to newbies?

Well I've been following since the day it posted and one of the first to respond to this thread. My comprehension actually sucks but know that things change. Having others on here who are willing to help some of us is always plus in my book. Tomorrow is another day. :hattip:
