    Good morning all,

I got a amp and speaker and was hooking it up last night once the install was done and was going to test it out I turned on my truck and the sub was not playing I messed around with the RCA cables thinking I put them on backwards and still nothing...so I went to shoot out the positive and negative to see if I was getting power and so happened to touch the remote wire I think while on the power wire as soon as I touched it with the leads my head unit went black so I shut off the truck and started troubleshooting I started by disconnecting the entire head unit waiting 5 minutes and reconnecting then I checked the 3 fuses in the engine bay and they were all good also tested the fuse holders for said fuses and was getting power whenever I might have shorted it out I heard a click from the head unit. I’m not sure what i should do next

**EDIT I also tried to shoot out the pins in the connector that the inline RCA adapter goes too and didn’t get anything
