Of course, can't expect other people to be wearing hula hoops. So I sacrifice my own body for my own safety

    That's very cool #RandyFab !

I have a couple questions though.
Can it display the plan view to scale?
Where are the Radii (A1/A2) or angles shown, or are they irrelevant?
Can it draw the ends at the attachment point as they need to be cut? i.e.

    upload_2020-6-19_11-32-23.jpg

Or do you just manually draw the line with a straight edge or chalk line on your larger projects?
How do you adjust the horizontal angle as it is attached? Is that just eyeballed? Meaning, if your bumper surface is angled and you want the hoop parallel to the ground, or at an angle is that something you work up with a Sliding T Bevel too?
How do you make all those cuts? Can you use a chop saw? Or a sliding compound miter saw with a metal blade?

I think it's way cool you can do all this yourself now and I am seriously jealous. I'm sure I would wind up in the hospital if I ever tried anything this intense.
    Great job.

Wowza that's a lot of questions. I'm still learning this program and know about 10% of it right now, considering I just bought it yesterday and started using it. I'm unsure if it will show me where to cut, but I don't need that. I just need the bends. I'm going to bend it up, lay a straight edge on it, and then cut it with an angle grinder. I'm just going to eyeball all of the cutting for this specific project because it doesn't need to be perfect. If there are any gaps it'll be fillable with weld. Doesn't have to mate up perfectly.

Have you made your test bends yet? I had one on the wall just for reference. Between that, and your software, you should be able to hold +/- .000006"...lol.

No not yet. I'm going to treat these bumper side hoops like my test bends to get a feel for the machine and also measure springback. I'm not planning on making the cheaters like the guy from youtube recommended, but I may have to. I just wish this were ERW so I wasn't so stingy with it lol this DOM is a little expensive.

You obviously missed his post about accuracy standards...............here:

"I'm unsure if it will show me where to cut, but I don't need that. I just need the bends. I'm going to bend it up, lay a straight edge on it, and then cut it with an angle grinder. I'm just going to eyeball all of the cutting for this specific project because it doesn't need to be perfect. If there are any gaps it'll be fillable with weld. Doesn't have to mate up perfectly."
