Speedometer correction

Sorry to disappoint. One issue I know about for sure is that the instrument cluster wiring harness pin-out changed in the 2019/2020. When I connected the module I had on my 2018 to my 2020 I got no speedo readout at all. There may be ECU or other code changes they have to contend with too. All I know is that I really miss having an accurate speedo and odometer. I hope they eventually update the product, because it's the only game in town.

 

Works perfectly. Speedometer, odometer and shift points were all corrected.

 

Would still be very close, not to much difference

 

Called Hypertech today and he told me to call back around the first of June

 

Thanks for the info! That would be awesome. Maybe they've received enough requests to motivate them to do it. Fingers are crossed!

 

Yeah I called a couple days ago. Reason is the change in wiring harness. But had no plans in the near future to make one. Hopefully enough people have called. And if you haven’t called. Do it

 

Welp, I just checked their website. No change. The product still isn't available for 2019/2020 Tacomas.

Me too. It's just a wiring harness change. How hard can it be?

 

I’ll give them a call today and maybe with people calling in pressuring them something will happen

 

I've called them before too, until they asked me to stop.

For those with 2019 & 2020 Taco's looking for a this speedo/odo calibrator, looks like Hypertech recently updated Part #730123 to now be compatible.
