Agreed on convention...however, I play Guitar, Sax, Drums, had organ lessons (all not well ) for the past 45 yrs.

I don't think a bass is gonna make me sparkle...I'll still suck. But I enjoy it

5 strings are tuned typically B-E-A-D-G

    Edit: 6 String B-E-A-D-G-C

your notes on a typical 4 string will be on the same frets. Right hand technique is a whole different animal though.

I started playing professionally at age 15, am now 65 and this virus has put me out of work. My go to guitar is my Ibanez GB-10 made in Japan, also have a 93 Clapton Stratt and an old Ovation Elite. Besides my Taco I have a 75 Triumph TR-6

    Very very nice.
    Got pic?
One of my top 10 "someday" dream guitars.

Ya know, I keep downtalking and saying "just" a gio,
But the more I play this thing, the more I like it.
Its a keeper Id have a hard time parting with it now and not just for sentimental reasons.
Its doing well keeping up with its big brothers.
    Plays great
    Sounds great
    To me.

Im sorry to hear this man and would love to see the gb
    And the others.
    And also

Im not worthy of any of you guys :bowdown::bowdown:

Buddy hung out last nite he brought a buddy who used to drum....think I inspired him to buy a kit and set it up over here...we'll see...

Took the Ibanez to get set up yesterday. I think I got it pretty dialed in myself, but the curiosity of how far off I am got to me. Had never done it myself, so we'll see. Comes back Monday. I think I need another guitar, not having one here really sucks.
