nope. You can also buy a drop hitch adapter if needed.

If your talking about your ball mount, it depends on the trailer your pulling. I wouldn’t think 1” would make a big difference. What size mount are you currently using? 1”, 2”, 4” drop?

Aux back up lights, Bed lights, Re-located trailer plug, Good dooby, a.k.a. jumper cable mod, Heated seats, back up camera,
Hook up to the trailer, stand back and look at it.

If the trailer and truck aren't level, the ride won't be as nice and could possibly cause you issues in an emergency breaking situation. Imagine the trailer and the truck are sagging at the tow ball. This is already taking weight off of the front wheels by pushing down on the hitch.

Tooling down the highway, something happens and you brake hard, the trailer is going to be pushing down on the hitch taking that desperately needed weight off the front tires. The nose diving that would happen without the trailer, increases traction on the front wheels.

Take a pic hooked up and let us see.

    Good luck.

Yea, only way to know is to hook up to the trailer and see what it looks like. What type of trailer is it? A boat or other utility trailer?

Nice. I had to play with my boat trailer until I got the drawbar height correct after lifting 1.5". At first glance it looks to high but it tows perfect at speed.
