Hey, I have found that I have a cyclical ticking noise from the passenger side of my truck that follows rotational speed, it seems to go away when I put any pressure on the breaks. I can’t tell if it’s coming from front or back but within the last 6 months I had new Callipers and rotors installed on the front. I’ve read about the pads ticking sometimes with lack of lube, would that be the likely culprit?

I believe the ticking you describe from lack of lube is when the pads slap into the rotors because they stick open.
I'd this ticking occurred before and after you had brakes replaced, I'd be looking at wheel bearings. How many miles on the truck?

It’s only happened since I had the Callipers replaced, looking past my rims there is no anti rattle spring and nothing feels like there is lube, like the pins are dry and everything. Called the dealership that did the work and they are going to look at it under warranty on the brake job. 160,000 on the truck but I replaced the wheel bearings at 130000. After jacking it up and spinning the tire I’m quite certain it’s the lads like you just described.

Looks great, no clicking on when turning or anything.
