Has anyone had problems with leg room in the front with an infant carseat behind the passenger seat?

If people are 5'2" then no. If people are like me and 6'4" then yes. Are you short or tall is the question that will give you your own answer.

I'm about a week away from installing the car seat myself (waiting for my seat covers to arrive), curious as well.

I'm short(5'2" and still had problems with leg room). I couldn't wait until the day my nephews went from car seats to boosters. No more kicking the back driver seat and dirty seats. The younger nephew car seat was always on the passenger side because he'll complain about the lack of legroom and start kicking the back of the seats!

I’m 5’9 and have 3 car seats behind me. The infant is in the middle. No issues with rear legroom but i sure wouldn’t choose this as a main family car. It’s great for me as my own vehicle and if I feel like hauling the family on occasion

We have a Chicco MyFit for our toddler. Im 5'10" with a manual. It fits behind the drivers seat, but barely. In the middle and passenger side is fine.

Tacoma doesn't really have what I would call a "full size" back seat. So yes, my grand-kids do travel with me in car seats however it's not a very comfortable situation for the kids or either front seat occupant.
Regardless of your height, if the kids have enough legroom to avoid continuously kicking your seats backs your knees are into the dash.
