B04 on the regular tune and no bogging issue here. I did not reset LVs.
It spools easily and downshifts appropriately.
Turn from the fast street to uphill is manageable and it does not get caught in between 2 gears.

Wonder how long it'll be before we get the ACTUAL 2.0 final since they capitulated to the whiners and did an early release, and are inundated with tickets and questions and such. Oh oops, forgot that I'm part of "The Wolfpack" and therefore am never unhappy or critical of things...

Just want to make sure I am reading the first post correctly - is this the HP/Torque graph for the 2.0 with 87 octane? Second - It looks like the tune produces more horsepower/torque lower in RPM range but decreased power higher in the RPM range (above 5,200). Finally - what is the difference between the red and blue lines? I can read the max HP code but am not sure what that means.

This has been there a while unless he changed it. It was on a previous premium fuel tune. I believe the blue is stock hp and stock torque. The red is the tuned version.

Hey guys Happy Father’s Day! Newbie question.
I’m Purchasing a cable from someone on here and I’m not interested in getting VF. I just want to flash like others. Has anyone else been thought this Process Recently. I Messaged ovt and the response was Two options both Being VF. Can’t I just buy license like before the VF come out?

    Tune 4b31 - premium 33 stock

450 miles on my tune just finished driving and am happy with how it performed. Its shifting is predictable and the throttle is responsive If i want more im going to need to get a super charger or turbo kit.

Vf is the new tuning package. If you purchase the tune pack, you also get access to the premade 2.0 files which you can flash with p5flash just like before.

you can still get what people had before, it’s just packaged slightly different.

Matt doesn't sell the old OVTune kit anymore. He moved to VFTune.
2.0 final is the latest tune released. You can flash the 2.0 tune with VFT plus you will have the ability to make changes to the tune with VFT. You couldn't do that with the OVtuner. If you want an old tune you can request it from Matt or maybe get someone on the forum that has it will share it with you.
I believe that the VFT kit is similar in price to OVT. With VFT you get many more options.
It seems every Taco responds differently to the tunes. Matt couldn't make a tune that would fit every individual truck. With the VFT you can customize his tunes to fit your truck.
That is a very basic explanations and I hope it helps you with making a decision.

I had them randomly reset all the time on my 2016 (never tuned that truck). There was a known issue with the instrument cluster, not sure when it actually got fixed.

Trying to install the 2.0 tune right now. But I'm having a problem with the "P5Flash Utility" its always grayed out and can't click on it. And there's a few times where we can click on it but it doesn't do anything. It just says "Ready" on the bottom left corner.

Anyone having this issue? Any solutions?

Does the redline change as the adaptations settle? During my initial shakedown run (~10 miles after the flash), all my shifts occur short of the stock redline, not at the raised tune redline. Not a problem, just an interesting observation.

Alright I've got to follow up.
Yesterday I put on around 75 miles after flashing 04B31 regular thx.
It was amazing off the start, but was intense when dropping from 6th to 4th.
I drove it hard though, figuring that the more the tune was exposed to the sooner it would modify those experiences to match the mapping.

Today took it out for about 40 miles. I live in Atlanta. I hit the highway for the first half and back roads the second.
The shifting was super smooth and the intense drop in gears when accelerating a hill or to speed past someone was gone (or smoothed out). I couldn't believe it. The car overall was smooth and pretty quiet (though I miss the deeper rumble from the beta, maybe that'll come back in time)

All that to say, I cannot believe how intuitive this tune is and how smooth of a ride I've gotten from just two drives totaling ~120 miles.
Just put it through the ringer, drive hard, show ur taco what you want it to fix up. Next start up will be better!

    Cheers @OVTune
