    Wouldnt be the first time a part randomly disappeared.

    Last time the dog snuck in and grabbed it when I wasnt looking.
    Looked everywhere then had a thought...the dog -was- just here...found him chewing on it out in the yard.

    Meet the new foster, Rita. She's about two months and two pounds.

    Minnie and her kittens managed to get into a no-kill and will be adoptable in Austin in a few weeks.

    Rita was found by a neighbor under the hood of a car. I took her in, and took stock. She had a wound on her leg and was walking a bit funny, had a leaky butt, and fleas galore. Now, a few days on and a vet visit later, she's fed, happy, warm, treating for coccidia and painkillers for her leg. Probably a small fracture but she's getting better quickly.

    She tested positive for FIV antibodies, so I ordered a blood test to see if she's actually FIV+ or just got antibodies from her mother's milk. Should know Thursday or Friday. Hoping she's negative so i can get her a playmate.

    Apologies as I don’t want to over-submit pictures but I finally got all 5 kittens in a single shot. These little guys are very sociable, love people, tolerate the dog and normal household sounds and activities. This is a shameless plug for anyone in central Texas thinking about adoption...we have to return these little ones from our foster care time back to the Texas Humane Hero’s in Cedar Park Thursday the 24th for spay/neuter.
