I was recently gifted a grill and I was able to install it very easily but I'm a but concerned about connecting the light. I've done a ton of research on it but I'm just not confident in my own understanding. I'd like to hook up to DRL. It comes with a positap on the positive. I think I need to tap into the pink wire (picture attached)? Does it matter where that happens? For the ground, it goes with the ground battery wire? I've attached a few pictures.

    Any help is truly appreciated

I have this same grill I recently got in yesterday and I can’t figure out the wiring either, they told me to connect the posi tap to the purple Wire that is the DRL wire and the negative to the battery I’m guessing .??? But where does the posi tap go to any part of the wire .???

So I figured it out the posi tap connects to the purple drl wire and the negative connects to the battery ground ...

That's awesome Raji! Would you mind taking pictures of the setup? So nervous to mess it up!

Plot twist: The negative wire isn't long enough to connect. It comes up a few inches short no matter which way I try to connect it.

    Back to square one.
