I bought my tacoma with 5100s already on it and have just added a hybrid front bumper. The coils on them are still the OEM and was wondering if I should just add the OME 886 coils or wait and purchase a whole new front set or whole lift kit. I will not be adding a winch till I have made sure that I have the proper suspension. Thanks for the help, just wanting to make sure i do not damage anything if I wait and save up.

Pretty sure Headstrong off road and others here suggest not using 886 on 5100's. 885's and the other's seem to be acceptable.

I did my lift one part at a time. The OME springs would definitely help and improve the ride a lot. If you really want to go with a high dollar king or fox setup then by all means wait. But a 5100 rear and AAL’s later doesn’t need to be purchased as a ‘kit’.

I already have 5100 in the front and back with the AAL, I was just curious more I guess if I should replace the 5100 in the front with EMU shocks and coils or if I was able to just replace the coils, but it would seem they do not suggest having the 886 coils on 5100. Thanks for the reply though!
