    Hey guys, I'm in the market for a new truck and considering an out-of-state option. Aside from being close enough to drive to and avoid shipping, what are some others problems anyone has run across? Specifically concerned about smog checks and catalytic converters.

    Just ask the dealer if the truck is 50 state certified, the sticker under the hood should show it. If it is, it'll qualify for CA emissions and shouldn't be a problem. the link above explains it all.
