    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

Niagara Rim Trail. It's a really good shake down trail, with a wide variety of obstacles. It also has 2 spots that are pretty much freestyle (Lions Butt and the Rock Pile) where you can test your rig on harder obstacles... up to and including Fordyce/Dusy type boulders.

The trail is also nice because it has 4 different ways you can get in and out along the trail.

Can anyone confirm that this is the right part number for the harness side plug on the 4x4 position switch (transfer case, pass side top)? I have attached a picture of the switch side plug if that helps.

Plug part number - 90980–11156 (Detection SW (Transfer 4WD Position) (w/o 2–4 Select SW))

and does it take the usual terminal repair with wire (82998-12340) x2 ?

Here is the switch side plug picture:
    IMG_1643.jpg
    @mechanicjon perhaps you'd know?

Thanks guys, just don't want to order the wrong plug and have to wait for the long delivery times again :)

ZERO issues. Sliders did their job.

    20200622_075428.jpg

Heard some pretty significant thumps on my skid plates, but they are 1/4 inch so I'm not even concerned enough to look.

I think the most significant issue that came up was I popped the fuse for my on board air, cause I wasn't letting it cool down... but I keep a full pack of spares in the truck. lol

For those with snorkels, did you need replacement clips for the liner and fender? If so where did you source those?

thanks, yeah it was difficult to find a nice fit this one is marked DEFLECTA SHIELD 502, i was considering cutting up an older lund visor fit for a ranger, but luckily found this thing and only had to mess with paint and wiring.

Working on my front suspension. As long as I have the OME coilover for the drivers side on the drivers side is there any other orientation I need to be aware of on a 2003 Tacoma? Like the end of the spring at the bottom end facing inside or out?15928571219066670780984473459053.jpg

So I just learned these drain plugs are a thing. Is this a double cab thing? Or is my 01 extended cab weird?

I learned this by helping my buddy install my old cb cable/antenna setup on his truck the other day. We weren't 100% successful though as we are chasing unknown high SWR and the theory is bad ground on the mount.

    Any rubbing on the resi's?

Thanks man! I appreciate it! It’s taken a couple years to build out but I love the stage it’s at now.

I plan on getting one in the future but I have a few other big items on the list before getting a rack for the topper. How do you like the caprack?

Should I wait to torque the bolts down until I have the weight of the truck back on the front tires? And is 101 ft lbs correct for the lower shock bolt? I don't see any way to get my torque wrench onto the upper bolts.

No rubbing but only on the street so far.

Not so much worried about the resi can, it is pretty high up and looks plenty recessed, but the bottom hose loop might be a bit exposed. I might try to rotate the can a little so the hose and fitting is pulled in more but not sure there is enough room between the can and the TC gusset. Plus, that hose is very stiff.

They are a smooth, plush ride so far. But I've only had them on pavement with the clickers set to zero. The real test will come once I get a chance to take it out on some trails.
