    So my new bilstiens came in yesterday, and I will be installing them tomorrow after school or possibly friday morning. The $324 question is where do I set the Front clip position at? I unfortunatly im not in the finacial position to be lifting the rear so I got 5125s so they wouldnt bottom out (advice from DSM). I would like to lift the front to level it out so I'm at least going up to the 1 inch mark but is the 2.5" mark too high? Im not looking for a bro look but I would like to be able to notice the difference. So what do you think?

    you know you can get an aal for like $75?? pretty easy to turn a level into a lift

    I know but I was told many times, especially from this site, that an AAL with my Leafs would not be a good deal because of how flat my leafs are. But now im kinda confined by my rear shocks since they wont allow any lift.

    An aal will help give the leafs some arch back. mine were fairly flat when I added the AAL.

    are the 5125's shorter than 5100's?

    Yea I believe so. the guys at downsouth motorsports called me up after I made my order of 4 5100s asking me if i was gunna lift the rear of my truck at least an inch because if not I should get the 5125s because with stock ride hight and stock bump stops the 5100s might bottom out. but now im haveing second thoughts if I should keep the 5125s or send them back to get the 5100s.

    Install the 5100s on the middle setting if your front end is lower than the back right now, before installation.

    well, clarify that the 5125's are shorter. if they are you could always send them back for the 5100's and get an AAL. pretty simple and then you've got a 2.5'' lift

    the first one on the wheelers list for $77.
    I chose that one as I figured it would hold up better with weight in the box, and being thicker should hold up better for those of us with flat leafs

    and How is the ride? I mostly do street driving but like to get out to the dirt every once and a while. Is the AAl as rough as people say it is? Thanks for the help

    new 31x10.5 tires, mag wheels, drilled rotors, new sound, and a cb.
    I had 5100's on the rear of mine for over a year while the rear was stock, I never had it bottom out. I got a 1'' block set for free, so I put those on for now just to level it out. I would send them back and get the 5100's. The guys at downsouth motorsports are great, explain it to them and see what they think, then if something does fail at least you can have the name of the guy to call for replacement parts.

    Yeap thats the plan, I plan on shipping the two rear springs back to San Diego tomorrow, but I have to pay for shipping both ways unfortunatly, Dam but oh well. and also if wheelers emails me back about there AAL I should be ordering that tomorrow as well. They say there AALs are custom fit but im not quite sure what that means. Does anyone else?
