Anyone have access or know someone that can program a new cut H key for a 2020 SR5. Needs the software and laptop to this one. Dealership wants $155 just to program just the key. Located in the North Texas area - Frisco/Plano/Little Elm.

    Thanks

Unfortunately key programming is not done through Techstream, or I haven't figured it out.

Well, I just googled it and there were some instructions...

Maybe it is possible with the Techstream software I have. That would be awesome because I, too, only have a single chipped key.

Thanks guys for the updates. I bought a key on eBay ($68) that matched all the numbers on the OEM key and had it cut by a locksmith ($5.40) and it fits and will turn the motor over but won't start it. Dealership didn't want to cut the key as they said it could ruin their cutting machine. Took less a 5 minutes to cut a the locksmith.

Need to find a coupon to use at the dealership for the programming.

I bought a G Chip key off and FOB off eBay for $20 and will try to get it cut in the next day or so. It looks like my Techstream software will program the key, so I'll report back once I try it for myself. I, too, was quoted $150 to get a key programmed at Toyota of Denton and they told me I would have to drop the truck off for that. No thanks....

Confirmed I was able to get a key programmed successfully. Starts the truck and new FOB works too.

Can you give my key a try? What's your FEE? I'm in Little Elm near Frisco.

Shoot me a PM with your mobile number and we can try to set up a time this weekend. Considering it works, should take just a couple minutes. I'm in Valley Ranch/Coppell area so might could meet in Lake Dallas or Carrollton/The Colony.
