Does anyone have one of these County Line tillers from Tractor Supply? If so, any problems?

Subbed. I'm currently in the dreaming phase. I'm on 2 acres in New England with a big list of projects. Thinking about a compact or small utility TLB. Read through all 60 pages this week and was happy to see that kubota was offering deals. Maybe I should swing by the dealer. But then again, you guys with your old gear looks pretty damn nice too!

Test drive a few brands and make sure what you land on has good dealer support. I went to a JD place first and the dealer was terrible. Looked at Kubota next and wasn’t a fan of their rocker pedal but the 3 range hydro was nice. Got down to drawing up a deal and it just wasn’t feeling right. Hit another JD dealer and walked out with exactly what I wanted. That was 10 years ago and now I want more.

Yea, I would agree. The kubota dealer near me is where I got my husqvarna riding lawn mower. I've only had to go back to them for pm parts. No major repairs needed so far. But I had a good experience with them. I would hope that they make buying and servicing larger equipment even easier.

See, I actually prefer a rocker pedal over the two-pedal setup like the one JD uses for their HST's. Much less likely to stomp the wrong pedal by accident.

Older tractors are bringing a premium anymore, watch some of the farm auctions on YouTube, farmers large and small are looking for machines that don’t require emissions or a dealer tech to be involved for repairs. The really old smaller tractors are sought after for resto and small time personal use.
Newer small machines have emissions but not much more than a catalyst until they get into the 40hp and above range I believe. Still can be a pain to deal with.
Pretty sure my ‘97 Kubota B2400 is gonna out last me it’s bigger than I need but I’m ok with that. just mowing the yard is tractor zen

The newest tractor I have is a 1993, 60HP. I wouldn't have a new one that size with all the emission garbage and computer stuff. I don't put many hours a year on any of them and wouldn't get one hot enough many times to burn out whatever it needs to be burnt out. The one we have I can work on most anything on them, I like it that way

I have several friends who work for tractor companies, Bobcat, trucking, etc. Everyone is having trouble with emission junk.

This auction from Feb shows how much older equipment is sought after, for the reasons you said, it can be worked on

Things to keep in mind: Horsepower doesn't determine loader capacity. A 25hp and 35hp tractor on the same chassis will have the same loader capacity, but cost considerably different amounts. So don't just look at HP & torque for your specs.
Also, if you're doing loader work, Turfs or R4's hold more ballast than Ag tires do, so they'll do a better job of stabilizing your rig if you are doing loader work, but you should still look into counterweights for maximum stability.
And honestly, buy at least 1 size up from what you think you'll need. If you think you can get away with a subcompact, get a compact anyway.

I think That is why I’m so happy with my B2400, there were smaller machines but this had all the boxes ticked even though it was just a little bigger.
60” belly mower AND 4x4 what an awesome combination.
And. If you’re getting a loader, get 4wd nobody ever said “I wish this tractor was 2wd” while doing loader work

Well gentlemen we lost a tractor today, our (my employers) Kubota M5-111 caught fire while one of my coworkers was running the boom mower.

I have one too. I welded an extension on the jaw opposite the handle and use it for twisting square stock for pickets etc.

I’m thankful he wasn’t injured, hopefully the tractor is totaled, we’ve had quite a few issues with it, it’s been at the dealer for 5 of the past 12 months, we just got it back yesterday from the dealer after they had it for 2 months.
Boss man said something about getting a quote from Deere for a replacement tractor.

I been busy today. Hooked up the box blade and cut the top down on a ridge in my lower driveway and dragged a bunch of gravel down into it and leveled it. I almost forgot how much fun it is to actually USE one of these things. It was very relaxing and I was cool in a tank top, shorts, and flip flops.

The wife got home from work and I fired up the grill, cooked burgers and dogs with some cheese smoked sausages as well. I put the tube meats on the grill before pulling the burgs off to put a lil char on them.

While I was grilling I heard my AC condenser kick on but the fan didn't come on. Shortly afterwards it kicked out. Did it again and the AC wasn't cooling. Fan easily rotated with a twig thru the grille. I figure the fan start capacitor is toast but dang, this unit is only 2 years old. I'll get one tomorrow but what do ya do when it's 7:30PM and your AC won't work--SWEAT all night right?
