    I already have my favorite.

But I get fever dreams about owning a right hand drive manual gearbox 80 or 105 series Land Cruiser.

I can’t help it, I’m a slave to my perversion. My dad’s BFF who’s like my 2nd dad bought a white regular cab 4X4 pickup new in 1991 and I’ve had a boner for them ever since. I’ve even owned 2 at the same time.

My gal's '87 Celica GTS. This car is very rare and few folks bought it in '87. She paid $21,000 in 1987. Most folks went for the regular GT, or they sprung for the Supra but not many got the GTS. 100% built in Japan with 100% Japan parts and shipped here. A detuned Toyota Racing 2.0L VVTI 4 with a sound like NO other 4-banger. Recaro-type body-hugging seats made of the thickest leather that you'll likely never find again except in high-end supercars. My '16 Lexus' leather isn't half as good! Even on its original suspension this thing will whip corners like a Porsche. And to top it off, for a small car, it has an amazingly spacious trunk and when you kick down the rear seats you can even haul longer stuff.

It was a compliment, hermano. I like Seinfeld, scenes and sayings from the show usually make their way into my lingo at least once a day:D
Elaine worked for 'J Peterman' (some high end clothing line for safaris and expeditions and crap, or something like that) and J Peterman was notorious for the ads in the catalogs being very....descriptive.
Lemme find a quick clip. It cracks me up

yes, i am likely done as well after 30+ years, but probably for different reasons, too many lies & deceit over the past 10 years and now when I finally find out about all the issues I had literally no clue about they show to me an utter lack of interest in helping me to keep my truck structurally sound! ... its sickening all the money i have given to them over 25yrs now to be shit on this way as a very loyal customer

i went to check out the new Colorados yesterday to see what i potentially need to replace this shitbox with, unfortunately they stopped :( equipping them with MTs a couple years ago
plus I tried to palm the bed floor on the Colorado and my hands were all dangly and grasping at air, not a bit of friggn room under the pits to bend the arms lol
so i am basically screwed trying to be happy with what i truck!

Bought a similar new 1985. 2wd 22R engine. My first NEW truck. Within the first year, the AC blew out a hose. Also, 1985's were notorious for a manufacturing flaw in that the head wasn't planed correctly causing it to leak. That cost me $$$ a few years later. Still...back then they were better than Nissan or Ford Couriers. I still see a few of those old Tacomas on the road. I see NO Nissans or Couriers from those years. They've long since all been crushed into square cubes and put into a smelter.

I had a fetish for the Tercel 4WD wagon for quite a while.

They had 63 HP, white wheels, plaid upholstery, a 6 speed manual and a lever transfer case. I have to go rub one out now...
