I had a license with an old address but brought vehicle registration papers and an electric bill and all was fine. I’d imagine it would be the same for P.O. Box

the place I got mine was able to print out a fishing license to my address since I didn't have another form of government issued paperwork with a matching address (in addition to my ID).
    Maybe try that?

Be prepared to stand in line and wait. Took me a bout a total of 6 hours over 3 days to get the paperwork started because I had to go after work and they kept shutting the line down. Then too me another 2 just to pick the gun up.:frusty:

few years ago basspro said that my fishing license with my current address would work. That was of course before all the new shitty CA gun laws.

I used my car registration. It didn’t have to match my ID because the address on my ID was old.

    I'll bring that as well.

Way to kill my vibe Peter!! How recent did you go? Was hoping it was no longer a clusterfuck. Sounds like I'll have a "dentist" appointment so I can go in the morning.

Thanks Steve! I've added my FL to my envelope of potential docs.

    thank you sir.

just start calling different sportsman’s warehouse stores across the state until someone answers. It’s all going to be the same response.

It probably got worse once all the looting started tbh. I got mine in the midst of the virus panic, that’s slowed down and now it’s the riot crowd that’s crowding all those lines.

I'm honestly surprised they didn't take all of the guns out of the stores.

Well you have a lot of people who see this as the ample time to become fans of 2A. Police departments being talked about being defunded and demolished, people are understanding why 2A is important.

(not to start that road down the rabbit hole btw)

Just saying that crowd looking to buy could be boosting things and making wait times worse.

Yeah, I definitely see that side of it. I was just thinking about the guns being in the stores overnight when crowds were near them. Interestingly enough in Fairfield the BestBuy was broken into but I didn't hear about the Sportsman Warehouse which is on the other side of the mall.

Likely because there are more people in that crowd who are interested in iPads and laptops and beneficial looting than firearms that they’d use for violence or selling illegally.

A better way to look at it is Best Buy means a slap on the wrist. Loot a gun store and you ARE going to jail-federal crime. Plus, you run the risk of being shot.

Since I don’t have a “build” thread... I’ll post the stoke here!

Gator floor mats via Amazon warehouse $25 :bananadance:

Husky generic brand. Been looking at Chinese knock off ever since I bought the truck but even those are $100 plus. Patience has paid off.

Honestly I like the factory floor mats but with three boys and living in the mountains... they’re already worn out.

You can go to DMV and get an official DMV printout that links your street address to your POB. I have used that document many times to purchase firearms and from Sportsman's. Sorry but I don't recall what documentation I brought to DMV to satisfy their wants.

For over 30 years I used only a POB on all vehicle registrations and drivers license. It finally became too much of a hassle to deal with as the world has changed. And Calif DMV really does not like it and they want to link to a street address anyway. Good luck!
