Delete please, bought a truck

After driving a double cab for 1.5 months now, it’s clear I prefer the Xtracab (I’ll be listing my 4x4 double cab soon!). And while I’d like 4WD, I really don’t need it, so I’m willing to do a prerunner as well. I’d prefer auto, but willing to listen to what you have if it’s a 5 speed. Any color. Preferably 200k miles or under. Not looking for a project. Just want a relatively clean daily driver. Also not looking for a unicorn to break my bank account.

Located in Houston, TX & Knoxville, TN. Willing to travel some for the right truck.

There was actually two Tacoma prerunners for sale on FB marketplace for the same price, I messaged both listings and they were definitely scams!

Most likely. I redid the same search on FB marketplace for different cities around Texas and Colorado, and the same two trucks were being listed for the same price. When I contacted the seller they had this long elaborate story about why the price was so low- the whole thing seemed shady to me.

 

Ah, that scam. “This” truck appears for sale on the east coast, too. It’s all bullshit.

 

Yup! Every search that I did in a different city pulled up the same ad. The scammers literally posted it at least 50+ times!

Is your double cab a TRD w/ locker?

My 99 xtracab is having a 03 3.4L dropped in with 103K on it next week.

 

No locker, just 4x4
