    i'm really digging the creativity.

let's see, what else can we come up with?

flare gun and a can of gasoline

    ANFO-packed spiked mace

    motivated 6-year-old with a screwdriver

    pepperfoam-loaded water balloon launcher

being blindfolded right before a wall of death at a heavy metal concert

shark bang-stick loaded with a breaching round

MRE heater mixed with gunpowder makes ok thermite. Motorola with a relay (9volt on relay) and a surefire flashlight bulb will ignite it. Talk on one channel, ignite with another. Also works for dismounted counter-ied training. (You work with what you have).

Glycerine and Potassium permanganate ignite on contact with each other.

Stick on a string, keeping a fan from blowing. In front of the fan is a dish of powdered sodium hydroxide (lye). Door opens, stick is released and powder is blown on the intruder.

I’m also not opposed to punji pits in my yard or oil soaked fields.

(those are just the less than lethal options. :notsure:)

Only the first one has been actually done. Which was actually used for dismounted counter-ied training. This was before TASC came up with the remote baby powder trainer. Variations were also used with crush wires, command detonation, RFID... whatever for more realistic training. Closest I was willing to go to simulate that feeling you have waiting for an explosion. 4-12 hour missions doing nothing but counter-ied, breaching or searches is hard to reproduce stateside.

The fan thing was used but with talcum powder as a prank.

    i'm still confused

is it more of "that is a tasty burger" in Yosemite Sam's voice, or is it more of Yosemite Sam's voice telling people he's tired "of these motherfucking snakes on this motherfucking plane" while waving around a pair of flintlock pistols?

there's a lot of latitude in these characters and they're both so diverse in context, this could go anywhere

it could even be Sam Jackson in an orange cartoon moustache, this shit could get weird if you don't better define/refine the context of your concept or its delivery

Well you've just got us figured out, huh.
So you know that she's an avid shooter, carries concealed, has extensive training in urban combat, probably worked with more SEALS than you and I combined, shoots expert rifle and pistol, can probably out ride you on road or track on her bike? you know all that? no? then it seems you've never known my wife.

Yes, I reloaded for plinking. W748 was good for 5.56 and .308 (M1a)

See, now you actually do know more about her than I know about your neighbor's uncle's cat.

and your intimations about her are still wrong.
