yup my years of riding my pink 49CC scooter with a lame cvt trans has made me a useless POS who shouldn't dare be within 100 yards from a motorbike...

actually been considering retrofitting the africa twin auto into the cbr, manual clutches are for boomers

:rofl:When are you going back to a pink scooter? On my ride with my daughter yesterday we passed a group of 3 mini bikes ripping it around neighborhoods.

Speaking of rev matching.. how do y'all feel about clutchless shifts? (Not quickshifter, just plain ol unload the transmission slip it into the next gear hammer back on). I'd say half or more of my ups on the BMW are clutchless.

I'm assuming since there were so many opinions on engine braking yesterday y'all will have some thoughts on this too :poking:

Found a neighborhood that has big speed tables. Daughter loved going over them full speed.

    ?

Not talking about the automatics like on the AT DCT models, I'm confused.

(edit: although I do have a rekluse on it, which is kind of cheating and auto clutch from a start I suppose...)

All good haha I'm talking about just rolling off the thread for half a second, clicking it up, and going on with your way. First time I did it I felt like suchhhhh a boss  Even though looking back now it's one of the easiest things about riding

I'd like to try out a quickshifter ...I know they're totally unnecessary for daily cruising but staying WOT clicking through gears sounds like fun

An old friend might have a SV1000 for sale. Im not in the market though.

I miss my Yamaha C3 sometimes. Then when I go looking for another one, nothing.. the only thing "bad" is people assume you have a suspended license because in VA you dont need a license to use one. Ahh Simpler times (neighbor having some fun)

I havent reached out to him lately (he is kind of annoying.. but I can. I think I only have 1 picture of us on a ride) We went for a nice "chill" ride, and he was knee down in the turns. I guess he didnt know what that meant..

    3 tons of fun
Been doing this since my first year riding. I learned that skill when my chain popped off my katana and sheered the clutch push rod about 2 hours from home. Fortunately I was with my dad and his buddy. Got the chain back on, pop started the bike, and did circles in parking lots every time I came up to a red light. When we came to stop signs, my dad and his buddy would pull into intersections and block traffic for me and wave me through.
