Better to keep your mouth closed and have people assume you're an idiot, than to speak up and remove all doubt.

Well, look at it this way: We've all developed knowledge that our employer finds valuable and pays us for. Why in the world would we give that away for free?

See, it's not sad at all! Pretty smart actually...

Old fart hangout? Well hek sign me up. Hope y'all don't mind an old newbie joining in on the conversation. Already bought a license plate holder from a member here so guess that makes me legit? :) I'll use this as my intro spot too. In Tacomas since gen 1s and recently graduated up to a gen 3 as a reward for surviving 50 years on this tiny planet. Failed miserably when I strayed to a car then a Nissan truck. Anyway, searched for my gen 3 for about a month. Grew tired of the gulf state Toyota dealer BS and bought 3 states away just last Friday....for enough savings to make it very much worthwhile. A Dad's day weekend with my son was an added bonus. Couldn't have got much better. Not much of a customizer and plan to keep mostly stock with bolt on accessories for excursions. Truck will be making memories between the Texas beaches and hill country. Me and my son ride enduro so the truck will see real mountains next spring/summer too. Priority is getting truck ready for bull red run in fall. It's way past time for him to land a big ole girl.

Hope I'm doing this pic thing correctly. Y'all have a good one.

Ah yes, the regional Toyota distribution areas (like GST). A concept whose time should be well past!

OK here goes. Wait. Can someone help with a cheat sheet? I sure would like to stay! :)
    1. What condiments do you prefer for your hot dogs? Think carefully! Really don't eat hot dogs. Have you seen how those things are made? I sub home made sausage on a flour tortilla with some hot sauce. Mmm good.
    2. What snack cakes Little Debbie’s, Hostess or Drake?! Nope. But hell no. Belly can't take any of it anymore. BUT, I did eat a whole box of those little debbie swiss roll packs back in my college days. Next day it wasn't too purdy. And never ate another after that episode.
    3. What is your preferred hardware for removing the younglings from the lawn? I have no lawn. I have a pasture and it's mowed by my youngling.
    4. Dog or Cat? This is not a question about what is on the dinner menu! Labs for life. Period. Cat?
    5. Goat Porn? Sheep porn. I'm 100% Texas Aggie. By choice. Cow tipping is cool on occasion. I stopped drinking after the last time though.
    6. Coffee or Tea? Those are your only choices! Coffee. Black. Not old man folgers either though. Got to have bite....thick black coffee. UNLESS I'm riding my dirtbike. ZERO coffee then...or I'll puke....and ride..and puke some more. Love get'n old.
    7. Bacon. Period.
    8. Toilet paper rolls, over or under? Got a divorce because of this. OVER only. Period. Now get to step'n and bring me a roll.
    9. Daylight Savings good or bad? JUST LEAVE IT ALONE. I'm in bed when sun goes down and up when sun comes up anyway. That will never change no matter what the clock says.
    10. How do you like your steak cooked? Moooo.
    11. °C, °K or °F ? In my beta manual °C, everything else °F

What part of the hill country are you in? Ever get over to Inman's in Llano for smoked tenderloin and scratch-made pie?

Way to avoid the Ketchup vs Mustard - you will find there are two very distinct camps with this group. Q #1 had nothing to do with hot dogs

Burnet county. Yes and hell yes. Even their turkey sausage is incredible. It was my stop when I made the loop around there Fredricksburg and back out to Marble Falls...on my old Harley. ALWAYs Cooper's for pork ribs and their beans...and a great big ole bill$$$.

Hell, you ain't far at all!

When things settle down and no one's under threat of kicking it from the 'rona you should come out to an Austin meet.
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...k-just-make-it-a-toyota-and-were-good.411172/

We've taken a break from our monthly meet-ups. We used to gather regularly for "tacos and tacos" where we'd take over an entire corner of Cars and Coffee and make breakfast tacos and enjoy road sodas. The stares of abject hatred from the Jeeple have been the best part.

Welcome to TW, and I'm sure we'll see you around!

No idea how to multi quote yet but thank you Cap! I'll be on the lookout for meet ups. I ride my dirt bike at hidden falls too but doubt my truck will ever see some of those climbs I hear about!

And Dan. Give it a try when you find some time. If sausage is good enough I skip the hot sauce. Venison....gosh that sounds even better.
