Pair of CBI ditch light brackets modified for antennas using thick surface NMO bases. My notes say I used PCTEL/Maxrad BMATM38 bases. The under side is sealed with black silicone. The coax is JSC RG-8/U and they currently do not have connectors.

Included are the windshield corner trim pieces notched to fit around them and the hardware to mount them, all stainless, metric for the two factory locations but I just used a 1/4-20" bolt & nut for the extra hole.

    Antennas not included!

    Location: Grand Junction, CO
Price: $50 for both, willing to ship them.

    Passenger side is sold.

Driver side is still available. $30 shipped.

Can the nmo mounts be removed and another mount put in its place ? I really really don’t want to run that cable again.

Do you mean another type of antenna base or no bases at all?

I would have to cut back the silicone to look since I don't have photos of before sealing them. But my memory is they are 3/8" holes and I used thick mount NMO bases that could be removed. Then a 3/8" threaded base or SO239 type could be mounted.

The alternative would be that I drilled them out to 3/4" for the NMO mounts but I don't think that is the case.

Oh, gotcha. Yeah, there's no connectors on the radio side of the coax. I cut them off to pull the cable back through the firewall. Was going to throw them in the box but if a fella or gal wanted them put on ahead I can do that. Or come through Grand Junction, CO, and we'll put them on later after the mounts are mounted. :)

I'd have to measure but I'd guess there's maybe 15 feet, give or take, of coax on them. It ran from the cowling in the firewall and under the sill on the passenger side to my radios under the passenger seat. I had the extra coiled, should be enough to run to the back wall of the cab.

There's no reason to dink with the antenna end, the coax is mounted to the base of the NMO, soldered and sealed with silicone. Then I have it zip-tied to hold it in place to the mount.

This is what the NMO base looks like under the silicone.

We didn't get much winter here this year. Up there I bet any snow was melted this year by March.
