    Now that's a commercial!

    Remember the ones with the Ford carrying a Chev up a hill of rocks, while towing a Dodge? I think they were early/mid 1980s production, IIRC.

    I do remember that And I bet that ford never towed anything else ever again. However the early trucks were built to haul loads not family.
    A friend of ours dad used to own a 1956 Ford step long bed ( like a super duty of today) He used it to haul rock for a business he owned.
    served him well for over 20 years. 240 Straight six 3 on the tree. You could not kill that truck. And it rode like a truck back then.
    Solid but stiff. And 50 mph was fast in that thing. It had real tall gears in the rear end.

    I like the business coupe ( 5 window) better than the T bucket type. Because the convertible tops always look funky
    when they are up... The business coupe has a nice tall roof ( originally for men with 10 gallon hats) so
    you can set it up better with how high or low you want the seats in relation to the floor boards.
    Gives you more options. Very nice car.

    Would have been unbelievable. Sold half way done. 2x3 frame channeled body, kicked rear, suicide front end, slingshot steering, optional lavender glass fluted headlights, 15x3.5 centerlines w/ 185/70/15 pizza cutters and 15x14 centerlines w/ M/T Sportsman 33x19.5. Edit: I’m still crying

    Thank you. Now when I think about it the front tires were 135/80/15 or something like that (one of the thinnest tires, available). Edit: God, I loved that car
