    None - for now.
    Hey all,

I'm trying to get a feel for how many people would be interested in purchasing a 3"-4" lift spindle for the forgotten about 2nd Gen 5 lug Tacoma.

I realize if there was a large enough market, one of the bigger companies (Fabtech, Maxtrac, etc) would have made one already. I feel, though, that it might be big enough to pursue.

Reason I am thinking about doing this is because the fiancee keeps bugging that she wants to lift her taquito. I didn't realize that, when we bought it, NOBODY makes a spindle lift when I assured her someone must. Now I'm left trying to deliver. Also, i need something to do after the wedding, and i was thinking about designing parts again. This would be one of two projects i would be starting off with.

Timeline would be roughly 12 months, between design, build, and testing. If it makes sense, and there's enough interest, I would definitely get a group buy going.

Let me know what you guys think! And maybe some other projects I should look into.

Tldr; random guy designing lift spindle for 2nd gen taquito to please the future wife. Interested?

    Thanks!

    Joey

This is one year late, but yeah the scarcity of any decent lifting parts for the 2nd gen 5 lug’s front suspension is abysmal. Totally down for some sort of product. I’m leaning towards a replacement for what Total Chaos did with the UCA’s with coilovers for a mid travel setup, but down for something that isn’t a spacer.

so many people lament over the lack of front suspension options, but the 5 lug is also a dying breed. I hope this gets more attention so that those of us running our trucks till they disintegrate can have at least one option (that I’ll bet a lot of ya would buy)
