If you got the OEM tailgate power lock, it's pretty much plug and play. I'm not the most handy person (esp with cars) but I was able to do it in about 1.5 hrs taking my time.

Who was it that said they got a ticket for driving the roads at green ridge?

I hope when I open it up I see those wires but no, no OEM power lock option. I have all the aftermarket components though.

Were they marked closed? The sawhorses usually say "4x4 only" or something like that. And dont you need to use those roads to get to some of the campsites? Plugging in @AR15xAR10 cuz he seems to know GR pretty well. I'm thinking about heading over that way soon, that's why I'm asking

They put up new signs that say "Authorized and emergency vehicles only" and have the saw horses pushed back past the camp sites. When I originally went down them (How I got the ticket) the saw horses were pushed to the sides like usual. I went back a week later and ran into a DNR cop who had a picture of my truck on his computer in his patrol truck from a trail cam. Said Ill be getting a citation in the mail.

You damn rebellious kids just think you can do whatever the hell you want and rules don't apply to you at all. Serves you right.

On a side note, when I got my first speeding ticket a week after I got my license back in 1978, I went to court to try to beat it. I told the judge "I didn't see any speed limit signs" and he smiled and said "ignorance is no excuse young man". :angrygirl:

To be fair, I (As well as i'm sure many others in this group) have been going down those same "Roads" for the past 5 years with no problems.

    (301) 478-3124, imma sure they have a legitimate reason, to shut down certain areas, a while back, they had 18 miles of off road use, East Valley and Stafford, why were they shut down? cuz nuckleheads would make there own trails from one to the other, just generally fucking the place up, so, just like anything else, enjoy it, until it gets so fucked up, that they shut it down

Damn! I was only 4 years old in 1978 and you was driving? I figured you was a little older than me but not that much. You definitely don't look (or act lol) your age.

FAIR!? Who said life was fair!? There's that damn teenage rebellious attitude again.

Or is it the classic "well all the other kids were jumping off the edge of the cliff so ......." attitude?
Two wrongs don't make a right ya know.
