2020 tacoma gearing

What’s up everyone! I’m new to the forum, recently purchased my first brand 2020 taco TRD offroad

now I’m sure there’s a thread on this somewhere, but what is everyone’s opinion on doing the gearing first other then later on.

I live in generally flat area, highway driven, and I plan on having about a 3” lift with 33s and eventually will replace the bumpers, rock sliders, adding additional weight. I do pull bikes, Quads, the occasional small boat.
The transmissions have been tweaked a little bit for this year and it is noticeable, but I’m wondering if 4.88s as my first upgrade would be ideal?
