Arc 1 industries built me some really nice bars . They are out of Vancouver and Mike is great to deal with. So if you need some bars these are the ones you should consider. 20200624_185645.jpg 20200624_185843.jpg

I'm not sure your third post should be advertising for a vendor who does not sponsor the forum.

    It looks suspicious.

If you had been a member longer I would not have mentioned it.

They do look good. I have heard that bed stiffeners were a must when balancing weight over the bed sides, but I have to assume this design applies downward force vs. outward force. If correct, this may be a design that works well without bed stiffeners.

I purchased the Diamondback cover, and have not added bed stiffeners because I feel the weight is spread across the full bed rails and applied downward.

I think I'm getting some bed stiffeners just to be safe. I have tried to research it but get both sides of the story, so for $150 for stiffeners seems ok. Thanks for your feedback

    Penis valve stem caps.
Bars look solid, I would recommend putting rubber, or some kind of insulation in between the plate and the bed rail cap to prevent damage to the rail cap.

I run bed stiffeners with my DB, ran them when I had a camper shell too. Added peace of mind with the RTT up there, and if you get the Total Chaos, adds a ton of tie down points which I use almost every day.
