Hello all, it's been a long time.
So, cut to the chase....now my truck has the fabtech spindles, v6 coils and coil spring spacer spacer in the front. Clearing 30's with no issue.
The rear end...I have the fabtech shackles, fabtech AAL, and hellwig helper springs (the heaviest duty ones they make) and the rear is still like 1"-2" lower than the front. I hate this. Lol
Cleared a bunch of stuff out of the bed, thought maybe it was the weight, nope, still saggy.
Not sure what to do next here, I want to keep it spring-under, as I often carry a bunch of tools and stuff in the bed.
Maybe custom shackles or leafs? Emailed Alcan back and forth a while back, but then they stopped emailing me back, idk.
Give me some ideas. Also, my welder isn't heavy duty enough to custom make the shackles myself, so, I can't make my own.
    Thanks

Look into some aftermarket springs. Even though you added leafs to your stock pack, the stock springs will still wear out over time. Probably time for a new leaf pack that will also provide you with the lift you want.

Same saggy suspension here. Been dealing with Alcan, they are almost ready to ship my springs. Seemed more organized and timely than Deaver, but that's your other option.

Looking into KC Springs, OEM are just crazy expensive.

Deaver never even replied to my email

OEM springs would not give you the lift you say you need. I think you want some aftermarket springs, I just don't know whats out there for 1st gens

KC Springs makes HD springs, but looking for lift options for a 5 lugger is a pain, unless you go custom, whic I'm limited with being able to pull off.

You know, custom springs, like, you tell them what truck you have, and they, like, make it for your truck, you know?
Even a Ford, or turd gen?

I tried that with Alcan and Deaver, no replies from Deaver, no response from Alcan in like 2 weeks.

Not sure what other reputable companies are out there.

Try phoning Deaver. I think they are reputable, but I imagine both them and Alcan are swamped.

Both Alcan and Deaver do let you know their turn-around time for the order is quite long, and they are upfront about it.

Alright, I'll try calling instead. If anyone wants some insane lift on their 1st gen with spring over axles, you can buy my original leaf springs from the 5 lug, hahaha

Given the thread title, I really expected more humorous replies.
