Taco lean and Top Plate Spacers

Recently I replaced my stock coils with OME 887s to go with my Bilstien 5100s.
I used a 1/4 top plate spacer on the Drivers side but i still have a 1/2" difference in level from side to side.
I'm just about to pull the trigger on a 1/2" top plate spacer from Wheelers but was wondering if I will be needing longer studs to accomidate it.

You need the longer studs.

 

Looks like you have more than .25" of thread free, but do you have .25" plus 3 threads?
Are you doing the rear also?

No the rear is fine.
Just need another 1/2" (total) on the driver side to match the level of the passenger side(no spacer).

 

Yep those are the ones, you’ll need a BFH or a press

 

oh, so you want a total of 3/4" spacer? yes, new studs needed

 

No, I'm just switching from a 1/4" spacer to a 1/2" spacer to level it.The 1/4"wasn't enough after putting the 887s on.

Hopefully the OP chims in on the below.

I recently installed an OME lift on my 2012 and have about 1/2" of lean on my driver's side.

I'm curious if the spacer corrected the lean you had? How hard was it removing the original top plate studs and replacing with longer ones, did you need a press or did you hammer them out? Did you go with an aluminum or urethane spacer?
