    thanks to everyone here for steering me in the right direction. I went to check out a different and seemingly rust-free DCLB Tacoma today, it was perfect...too perfect. I looked under to check the frame and found these. The sales guy was genuinely speechless. The Tacoma was perfect otherwise, a real big shame. Search continues.IMG_3266.jpg IMG_3265.jpg

    If it isn't too late for a new frame, and if you can get it cheap, and if you have the time for it to be fixed, it might be worth it. Maybe.

    Wow, someone even rattlecan the frame to hide the rust. The main issue for me to avoid a rusted vehicle is that simple tasks such as replacing shocks can be a pain in the@ss. Usually frame rust has already infiltrated into suspension components even if you eventually get a frame replacement.

    Scary. Is this at a Toyota dealer?

    Aside from our frames, I'm surprised how much the cab undersides rust. I'm surprised that there aren't more issues of perforations into the cab.
