A lot depends on how it was treated for those first 200K miles before you got it.

I drove my '07 to over 351,000 miles then sold it for over $5,000. It's still going strong the next town over.

    I agree with @TheBigKahuna .

Be proactive now. Pull the valve covers (get new gaskets) to see how gummed up the valve train is. If needed, clean it out internally then use synthetic oil and change every 8-10 K miles. Change all fluids now and keep up with it.

    Great info to follow.

    Good Luck

Had to be all highway with that many Miles on such a new truck.

Do plenty of research before modding/Maitenence!

It's not a problem when they're taken care of. I bought my 09 a couple years ago with 233,000 on it. Used it in the oil field for a year and it has 345,000 on it now. Small lift and 265's. Regular maintenance and I'm not afraid to drive it anywhere. I go home just about every other weekend with a 5 hour drive each way. What makes it really enjoyable is getting in it after driving my welding rig all week. The tacoma handles so well and is smooth and quiet. Love this little truck. Enjoy man.

Solid advice here. I used that thread to build my own maintenance schedule and tracker, tailored to my vehicle and planned mods:
