Planning on putting a 3” lift w 33s on stock rims. Always have liked the beefier tire on the stock rims, my only concern is the rubbing and figment. I know I’ll probably need spacers to do so, does anyone have advice or pics of their rig? Thanks

Hey there, I have 33's (falken wildpeak 285s) on stock rims with old man emu lift which puts me at about 2.5-3 inches.

I only had very minor rubbing on the upper control arms at 100% full turn.

It would be completely ok to drive/off-road with.
However, I did put in 1/4" spacers on the front and not have no discernable rub at full cock.

Let me see if I can pull up some photos...

Here you can see it lifted with just stock tires
    Then no tires
    Then with lift and 33s
    Then with no front spacer

It looks close, but understand that your UCA will move with the tire.

Thanks for the help fellas, good looking rig sgoodluck. Just got setup with a 3” and some 285/75r16 that will be put on next week. I went ahead and put on hold some 1.25” wheel spacers just in case. I might stick with them for that stance look :cool:I’ll post some pictures after it’s finished. Anyone see any issues with that setup are the spacers too wide I see that you had 1/4 inch. Wondering if that will affect the driving?

Fair number of tire shops won't work with spacers. A bigger spacer might cause you to rub in a different spot.
Good luck and keep us posted! I've thought about getting bigger spacers for stances too

Just picked her up, 285/75r16 with a 3+1, 1.25 spacers. No rub at full turn on level ground, but flexing when turning there is a decent amount of rub. Going to have to do some plastic trimming. Otherwise no complaints 4E4F8EB4-1424-4553-8FD8-F208AEF32637.jpg 6E4224E7-2066-429E-ABEF-BF0FC94BA0E0.jpg 2B45A133-A45A-4286-A07B-74D932EEBD8A.jpg

1.25 spacers and you will rub, cmc needed. Save the money and add ucas at the same time as lift, as well as a cmc and be all done. Don't try to do the cheapest way possible, usually costs more in the long run.
