Well....things didn't turn out perfect on the dyno tune today. On a positive note, the guy (who clearly knows his stuff) was able to address some items like idle and driveability. So the car is smooth and runs great.

A 13b rotary engine has 4 fuel injectors...2 primary and 2 secondary. As RPM and turbo boost build the secondarys come on line and begin to take over as the primaries fall off. Unfortunately, the secondaries were not coming on above 4k RPM and 12 lbs of boost as they should. This resulted in a lean fuel condition which is not conducive to power or engine safety. As a result, the engine only made 300 HP.

It doesn't appear to be an ECM issue...has the injectors are getting a signal to fire when they're supposed to....and there's proper voltage at the connectors. The ECM is also tuned to deliver the proper amount of fuel to them.

So....that leaves an issue with one or both of the secondary injectors. The reading is a composite of both. So it's possible that one is clogged or just not physically working correctly. We gotta sort that out....then back to the dyno.

The good thing is that the car is now healthy enough to drive there. So no trailer it will be needed.

But such is life with a build like this. My buddy took it in stride.
