new member - where can i get extended rear brake lines for 2017 taco? i looked through some past posts, but they ended up at links that did not have anything for me, or were no longer working.

hi all:

i bought a 2003 four door with about six miles, and for some reason after 287,000 miles, and nine years with no car payment, i decided to buy another.

so, a couple years ago, i bought a 2017 trd off road, 2wd, 4dr.

within the last month i put a 6.5" front spindle lift with 6" rear block lift on it. this week, i put 315/75 r16 mud tires on it (= 34.6" i think).

truck looks beautiful, however, the rear soft brake lines from the underside of the bed to the differential are pretty stretched (i think they are 20" long).

i went to the summit racing store - super nice people! they dug up some 30" lines, and mated it to an adapter.

the adapter fits the hard brake line portion coming out of the truck, however, at the bottom of the adapter (from the summit lines to the truck hard lines) there is no little rubber seal in the bottom of the part you screw on, like in the stock lines. summit just said, 'if they do not work, just bring them back.' this concerns me, because i like to stop every time i press on the brake pedal.

thoughts?

how long lines do i need?

is there a vendor that i can just buy brake lines that i do not have to just see,'if they work?'

any help appreciated.

thanks for the suggestions! i ordered a set off crown ss, and they set me right up.

i called a couple of local shops, and they both wanted me to drive it over to them to look at. miss a whole day of pay at work driving around town v. ordering from crown. fairly easy decision.
