    Checked in here maybe 8 years ago - haven't been very active on the forum though for quite awhile. @shane100700 reminded me you were all here so I thought I check back in. Just purchased a 2020 Tacoma TRD Pro in Army Green last week - sold my 2004 Tacoma Extracab OR/Sr5 with 41k miles on the clock to its 4th owner.

    Army 1977-2003. Spent my first 13 years in Field Artillery in Germany, at Fort Sill and Fort Ord. Blew a knee out while at Ord serving as the Regimental FSO for 9th Infantry Regiment and opted to take a branch transfer over a medical retirement. Branch transferred to Military Intelligence and served my last 13 years at Fort Ord, Germany and the Pentagon. Typical military schools for an officer - did my War College time at National War College in DC. Also trained as a Middle East/North Africa Foreign Area Officer - spent a year at DLI and the 1.5 years at the US Embassy in Tunisia where I was the Foreign Area Officer Detachment Commander and Deputy Director of the Department of State's Advanced Arabic Institute - spent time in language immersion travelling the Mid East and North Africa. Retired at the end of 2003.

    Went to work in higher education after I retired - have been the President of a small college in northeast PA for the last 7.5 years and will be retiring, for the second and last time, effective July 1 of this year. I was blessed with two amazing careers.
