Far from perfect but I think its alot better than the open cavity and exposed filler neck.
Definitely is not as sealed up as the factory wheel liners but will keep the majority of mud ect out.

If you look real close you can see the self tapper screw I used to refasten the liner. They all got covered with rubberized undercoating and majority got trimmed as well. This one however was set after I had already reattached the outer trim

So, ever since the front fender trim my air box uptake point has been exposed a bit much for my liking. As many of you know it's just hanging out there waiting for water to get inside in the form of one splash or another. After much pondering I decided I would try to scrap yet another piece of the original front fender well liner. After some finagling I found an option I liked and did some trimming until I felt like it fit well as it could while still getting enough free flowing air. Some self tapper screws, washers and 1 small machine bolt and nut assembly. While it might not be pretty, I feel it as good as factory almost. All while keeping the stock air box and uptake fully factory and functional. Just have to add a little under liner now20191128_153237.jpg 20191128_153244.jpg

Couple pics post Tite Seal Undercoating.
You can see a small return at the back end to help deflect water. It also rolls around at the top and touches back to the inner fender/engine compartment wall. Just cant get any kind of pic angle to show that20191128_165320.jpg 20191128_165329.jpg 20191128_165351.jpg

It was a Very Merry Christmas from @archive_garage & @Polyperformance!!! Big thanks to my AWESOME Wife for helping make this happen and making me wait until Christmas day to open all my goodies!! I was so excited to open the boxes lol. Beyond impressed with the quality of Eric's parts and workmanship over at Archive Garage!! Everything is beyond beefy and comes with a killer powder coat job!! It's also packaged extremely well!! Great service from @dustysmith as well as good prices and parts availability from the gang at Polyperformance. If you dont see what your looking for on their website dont hesitate to call, they can probably get it!!

Everything from @archive_garage went on smooth and fit like a glove!! Finished just in time to go test driving out in some epic desert snow!! His parts are better than then competition in most cases so if your doubting it and debating on going with a "cheaper" option, its exactly that.....cheaper. his plate steel is a higher grade than others, his u bolts are 9/16" vs everyone else with 1/2", his Hammer Hangers have built in closed ended "sliders", even the bushings have grooves on the inside hole for better grease dispersion. Not all greasable bushings you'll find have that extra feature. I'm telling ya, it's all top notch!

Digging the Christmas Presents for the Taco! Blown away with the amount of travel these factory stock springs are yielding with the Archive Garage Hammer Hangers, Shackles and Shock Relocation! 35" Ridge Grapplers still tucks away nicely on the new Super Bumps in the rear!!

Oh that is niceeeeee. I've been holding off on suspension because 1, I haven't hit my limit stock yet and 2, if I alter it I am going with the archive relocation kit. This sealed the deal on that debate quickly. Very nice looks great and the detail is awesome ! Hesitant to do 35's because of needing the snorkel but I like the piece you made to block the intake from water and debris ect.

Thanks @Dirk Diggler ! It's a work in progress but the AG parts are one of the soundest investments you can make.
Take the dive and get some 35" action! The small piece I fashioned out of the left over liner wasn't hard at all and seems to be working well as I splashed through plenty of puddles today and maintained a nice dry filter!
    Cheers!

Finally pulled the trigger on a set of Deaver U402 stage 1 leaf springs. So far so good!! Have a little bit of adjusting to do on the Fox DSC's and should be riding good enough for my needs! Absolutely loving every single @ARCHIVE upgrade all the more now that I've got all the bases covered in the rear of the truck!! The new Deavers are taking full advantage of everything that Archive has to offer!
